V.R. Manoj

V.R. Manoj, an Affiliate Scholar of the IEET, holds a Ph.D in Environmental Biotechnology/Sciences from Anna University, Chennai, India. He has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Microbiology from the University of Madras, India, a diploma in Plant Tissue Culture from Loyola College Chennai in India, and a postgraduate diploma with distinction in Bioinformatics from SISI, Government of India. Manoj is a founding member of the Indian chapter of Humanity+ (formerly the World Transhumanist Association). His specific interests in transhumanism range from cyborgs and metaverses to environmental and spiritual issues of the posthuman future. He writes the blog “Cyborg Fantasies.”.
