Intelligent Design Made Mankind?

Marshall Brain

Excerpt from Why Does God Hate Amputees?

November 17, 2005

Today’s “Intelligent Design” movement is based on an argument not unlike the one used by William Paley just before Darwin’s day. Paley believed that if you found a watch in a forest, you would not assume it had formed there by itself. You would assume that it had been made ultimately by a “watchmaker.”

You have only disproved the christian designer which anyone could do.
Nature made us? This is entirely possible but who made nature?
I know what you are saying in your head. Well if god made nature who made god? That is the beauty of it everything comes from something because matter can't randomly exist it has to be put there.

Doesn't this somehow contradict the law " matter cannot be created not destroyed"? In any case, no point in inventing a God, because then that God's creation requires an explanation, ad nauseum ...
