Mirror neurons are theorized to be, according to some of the more heavily popularized literature these days, neurons which activate in the primate brain upon observation of another individual performing an action.
Hello,
I am a Doctoral student writing my dissertation on Empathy in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I am quite interested in the new research on mirror neurons and empathy; specifically are your findings showing that some people are more capable of empathy then others? Particularly interested in the non-autistic population for this study. Thank you. Any articles, websites you'd recommend would be veyr helpful. LB
