It is Thanksgiving holiday here in the United States, a time to take stock of all the good things we can be grateful for. This time, for me, with a technoprogressive spin on it.

Gratitude leads to happiness. One of the exercises that positive psychologists prescribe is a daily diary of things to be grateful for - which is different from being grateful to god(s). Just making an effort to think of something each day has been shown to substantially improve mood.
