Poll: Should steroids be banned in pro-sports?

Posted: Sep 30, 2007

About half of you think they should be banned outright, and half are for at least allowing them to be used in a liberal fashion in a separate sporting league.

New poll: Are we past the climate change tipping point?

NO. NO. NO. I believe steroids should be legal, just like cigarettes and alcohol. Because cigarettes and alcohol have killed more people than STEROIDS. But their still legal. United States Gov. knows what best for everyone though.

I think steroids need to be banned from all profesional sports or they need to create an advanced league. Just like cigarettes they are killing people on the inside by rising their blood preasure and making life miserable for everyone around them.

Steroids should be illegal... It gives them the advantage over the other people and that is not fair. They are taking the easy way out and with all the money that the pros make, they should have to work their butts off to be the best that they can. The most fun thing about participating in sports is knowing that you worked your butt off to be the best that you can and your opponent did not. you should have to work hard to get what you earn, not get publicity and a bunch of money, because you cheat yourself. Plus what are these pros showing the young fans. That if you cheat your way through anything, that it is okay and you can't get in trouble. no, that is not right. They are supposed to be a role model and leader and teach kids that if you work hard enough and put in the time and effort, the results will be great.

I don't think sport players should use steroids because it's not right that others are trying to get ass far as they are and there going the easy way. I think they should just make new teams who are staying free from any kinds of drugs, and aren't fake.

Just like cigarettes and alcohol. Because cigarettes and alcohol have killed more people than STEROIDS. But their still legal.

YES, steroids shoud be illegal in sport because its the same thing as copy righting an essay, your cheating your way though to the top and its not right an eventually you are going to get caught

I think steriods should be banned from sports because, you need to gain your own strength and not cheat to accomplish your goal. That is what i think. You need to have your own power and not depend on a pill.

Steriods are terrible things. They should only be used on people who need them not for strength. Athletes made it to the big leagues because they were good. Do they really need more strength? Knowing what can happen after doing them is gross!
