Plurality of IEET Readers Say Politics Will Always Matter

A clear plurality, though not a majority, of respondents to a recently concluded poll agree that no matter how far ahead we look, the exercise of politics will remain vital.

Just over 45% said that in the future, politics will continue to matter “a lot.” Another 23% said political issues will matter “some, though not a lot,” while about the same number claim that politics are a distraction and will matter “not at all.”
