The conference attempts to offer a global perspective on current policies, practices, and legislation about new reproductive and genetic technologies (NRGTs). The conference will address the following key themes:

* NRGTs and the rights of children and families;
* global issues in NRGTs;
* feminist perspectives on NRGTs; and
* current medical perspectives on NRGTs.
